Health Technology Event in Singapore


The Singapore Health Technology event is the largest health technology conference in Asia, attracting delegates from around the world. The event features the World One Health Congress (WOHC), the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute, Healthcare InnoMatch, and the Temasek Foundation Pinnacle Series.


World One Health Congress (WOHC)

The World One Health Congress (WOHC) health technology event in Singapore brings together global policymakers, scientists, and health practitioners to explore key issues affecting the health of humans, animals, and the environment. It will take place from 7-11 November 2022 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands.


This five-day conference is organised by the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute. It aims to advance health in Asia and the global community. In addition to presenting research, it also fosters collaborations and partnerships among academic institutions, industry, governments, and nonprofit organizations.


Leading policy-makers and scientists from around the world will share their knowledge and experience at the conference. A range of topics will be addressed, including the interlinking of biodiversity and climate, detecting emerging pathogens, and health systems resiliency.


Digital Health 2023

One of the most important digital health events in Europe, the DMEA Conference features an array of keynote speakers and targeted networking opportunities. The event also features over 500 exhibitors, and is an ideal venue for effective customer acquisition.

It seeks to connect innovators with leading healthcare institutions and national agencies, and test their ideas for feasibility and proof-of-value.


The winning solution of this year's competition is PreSAGE by CoNex Healthcare, which aims to prevent falls in nursing homes and hospitals. This AI image-based solution works by identifying and tracking deviations in biomarker patterns, indicating the likelihood of a fall.


Another solution that made the top five this year is FxMammo AI, developed by FathomX AI, which aids clinicians in detecting breast cancer from mammograms. Meanwhile, H-Man, a portable intelligent robotic device, marries technology and research. By allowing patients to do rehabilitation exercises from the comfort of their own home, it is aimed at improving patient care.


National HealthTech Challenge

The National HealthTech Challenge in Singapore focuses on technology-enabled solutions to improve the delivery of health services. It provides a platform for professionals and solution providers to showcase innovative solutions and engage in collaborative development and testing of promising healthtech innovations. Applicants will be evaluated based on three clinical adoption themes: screening, diagnosis, and cure.


In addition to bringing together solution providers and healthcare institutions, the National HealthTech Challenge in Singapore is a unique opportunity for professionals to work on challenges in public healthcare. A wide array of new and emerging health technologies will be tested in partnership with the public healthcare clusters in Singapore, which will provide feedback and customise offerings.


Temasek Foundation Pinnacle Series

The Temasek Foundation has introduced a trifecta of health technology events at the 7th World One Health Congress in Singapore. Several high profile names are on hand, from the Singapore government to the private sector. The main event will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Its three-day long schedule includes a series of interactive learning and networking activities. Among these is the Temasek Foundation's signature Pinnacle Series, which is the gist.


The Temasek Foundation Pinnacle Series will bring together the nation's top healthcare experts and academic luminaries to share their best practices and discuss the latest in health and medical technology. This event is the first collaboration between the world's largest healthcare company and the academic institution. It is aimed at building a health system that is resilient to rapid globalisation. A team of leading scientists and policy makers will share their expertise on global issues and emerging topics.


During the event, SingHealth and Duke-NUS will host five core programmes. Each programme is focused on a different aspect of health.
